Why am I Bartering for a car? What is a USP and how can it help you? How can you squeeze every ounce of value from what you have? Here’s how I’m learning to doing it right now from a book called, "Getting All You Can Out Of All You've Got" by Jay Abraham
This week’s a look behind the scenes on what I’m working on and what I’m learning. From the current reading material and results from that, to how I made my USP w/ the help of chatGPT (including a link to the exact conversation I had to get there, so you can use the same process as well.)

there are so many new ideas coming, I had to take a break and write about them, flesh 'em out a bit and digest before continuing on :-D

My wife's been asking for a bigger couch and I've been reluctant to get one. she's prob been asking for more than 3 yrs :-D
I decided that maybe I can do a barter for one by trading my programming skills or marketing knowledge in exchange.
To me that would kill 2 birds:
I found a local guy looking to get a car on craigslist through bartering his video marketing skills and he has done work for a local furniture company.
I offered to compliment his video skills with my programming skills that he can trade to get a new/used car of his choosing at a local auto dealer which I in exchange would get the introduction to the furniture store.
Idk we'll see if he's up for it :-D
On the USP topic, I hadn't created one before but I worked with chatGPT to get ideas on which mental models / frameworks I could consider when creating one.
Process
That lead me to something called the "Unique Abilities Concept" which I've not heard of before. Then taking that and passing it through the SWOT analysis to identify where my strengths were and where my audience envisions the gaps in other providers of a similar type of solution. Near the beginning of the chat, I'm just trying to understand which lenses do people typically use to begin thinking through their situation objectively to start the process of generating ideas pointing towards their uniqueness.
Near the middle-end, I ask chatGPT for which questions I should be answering to help guide me toward my objective of creating a USP.
After some failed attempts, I was able to come up with a USP that I paired with the "Better Than Money Back" (BTMB) guarantee.
